Hey all of our wonderful readers! How are the both of you?

Well, you probably noticed the hiatus we have been having recently, but fret not! Updates are on the way. I’m updating the website and making it look a bit nicer, a bit more professional, and Maylem is hard at work on the next page, which is looking good so far. The comic isn’t officially underway yet, which is the reason why we’re so lax about our release schedule (we’d rather work on polishing the plot right now) and the way the site looks.

When we have 20-30 pages we plan on advertising the site like crazy, so when we start getting more readers and putting our name out into the interwebs more, you should expect a more regular update schedule (bar things like my having to work or May having to study, as she is in full time college; such things cannot be helped, we do have lives =P ).

We finally put up an update schedule and bam! We breaks it! There won’t be a new page this weekend (I really should have posted this up sooner D:) due to the artist’s (that’s me!) family plans in celebrating Father’s Day. There will, however, be two updates next week so don’t leave just yet! <:D

The writer pulled a fast one on me and ruined my joke about our about page. Well, we finally have an about page it seems, although it really doesn’t reveal much about the setting of the comic itself (reason being that the setting and the events that occurred leading up to the main character’s appearance are spoilers–but don’t worry, it’ll all be revealed with time ). Anyway, go take a look and read what the writer wrote about himself…in third person.

In other news, our two new characters (the big guy on page 5 and the little spit of another guy there) will be added to the minor characters section of the Characters page. Feel free to take a gander (*snorts* I love that word) at the details of Webb the big guy (his picture and details are up) and Penler the little blurry guy (his picture will be up when we can actually see his face).

The good ol’ writer finally fixed the forum and it should be running smoothly now! You can now sign up and have your account work on both the main site and the forum, so there’s no need to create two separate accounts.

We’ve finally decided on a stable update schedule for the comic. It will now update every weekend (as in, sometime between Friday night and Sunday night). We’d love to update more than once a week but, well, we’re procrastinators. I kid…sorta. To make up for this whole once-a-week deal, we’ve decided to post up a few journal entries and short stories throughout the week that will reveal some details about the setting and past events. I know, I know, we could’ve just written out an about page (if you haven’t checked out our about page, please do so. It’s pure brilliance), but we thought having you guys piece everything together (like the main characters will have to do) would be so much more agonizing fun.

ComicPress 2.5 has been installed and the layout has been adapted to fit it.

Hey all,

The comic is still alive, as said before! But we’re also planning the comic and developing the world and storyline a lot more, so you can expect great things from us, we’re working hard on it!

I know we haven’t had the best release schedule, but we aren’t fully going yet and haven’t advertised the site at all, so I think our zero readers will forgive us. But here’s a little extra, we recreated the second page of the comic. Here it is:

Hiya folks! Artist here. Just wanted to let the odd one or two daily readers know that the comic’s not dead! I went into hardcore study mode due to finals and the writer kept me from seeing the script of the next page until exams were over (blame him, not me! >:D). We did get around to developing the plot and the characters quite a bit though and I’ll be posting some teaser images of upcoming characters soon (as well as some nifty wallpapers, a world map in the works, character bios and an actual plot synopsis). In the meantime, meet Aurell:

Also, I’d really love some input on the art (if you’re too shy to post for all to see, just e-mail me). I’m brand spankin’ new to Photoshop and I’m bound to make things look completely retarded. So feel free to throw any suggestions (especially Photoshop tips!) and critiques my way =)
