About the Creators

Freddy Chambers and Maylem Gonzalez are the creators of Second, a comic they have worked on for over a year prior to putting in great amounts of effort in getting the comic up and visible on their website, secondcomic.com.

May is the artistic hand behind Second, creating the window into the world the two have created. Drawing each page and designing each character is her contribution to the comic and the entire reason why the comic even exists in the first place.

Freddy is the architect and writer of the world within Second, creating the characters and the world they exist in, along with the storylines and developments thereof. Freddy dreamed up the beginnings of what would become Second over two years ago in a vague and very different idea.

There is no clear cut line between each job of theirs. Whilst Freddy may be the writer of the world, he will often find himself sitting with May for long hours at a time discussing each character (what they are and who they will become), the world itself and the stories the characters will become a part of. May is often drawing and designing with Freddy’s input, bouncing her ideas off of him and creating something with a shared vision.

The sum of both parts together are hundreds of times stronger than either apart from the other, the comic would not exist without one or the other.
